Job Description
We have a full time opportunity for an IT Helpdesk Technician to join our team. Under the direction of the Systems Engineer, the IT Help Desk Technician provides support to end users and IT systems on a variety of issues. The ideal candidate will be capable of identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems and escalate any issues that cannot be resolved at the helpdesk to higher levels of support. They will respond to telephone calls, emails, internal chat messages, and personnel requests for technical support. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Working knowledge of multiple hardware and software platforms at an intermediate level.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013/2016/365
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
- Working knowledge of mobile devices (iOS and Droid)
- Intermediate understanding of Apple MAC
- Understanding of VPNs and remote worker technologies
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
- Perform pro-active monitoring of computer systems
