Why is it called "Right-Sizing?"

Sometimes you get to a point in your life when your home feels too big to live in or too much to take care of. A lot of people call the next step “downsizing.” We like to call it rightsizing. Here are the answers to some common questions we get about rightsizing.
 

IS THERE A RIGHT TIME TO RIGHTSIZE?

It’s all subjective. You need to determine the timing yourself. However, there are questions you can answer to figure out if it’s the right time.

  • Are there areas of your home that are rarely used or go completely unused?
  • Is home maintenance becoming a nuisance or troublesome?
  • Are physical issues making living in your current home more difficult?

If the answer to any one or more of these questions is yes, then the right time might be now.
 

HOW MANY HOMEOWNERS ARE THINKING ABOUT RIGHTSIZING?

We see more and more homeowners rightsizing every year as baby boomers become empty nesters and either have retired or are looking at retirement in the near future. These lifestyle changes have a direct correlation to new housing needs, especially for rightsizing.
 

HOW DOES BIELINSKI HOMES MAKE RIGHTSIZING EASIER?

Rightsizing is relative. For some it means moving from a two-story home to a ranch. To others it means moving out of their existing home and into a condominium. Whatever the need, we have a solution.
